Wahkon is open for business

For those who live, work or visit areas in town - access will be maintained via side streets and entrances. Multiple crews will be working, and you can expect hard closures between Summit Ave. and Sixth St. E., including parking.

Here's how to navigate:

·         Motorists

o    Hwy 27 northeast end uses Sixth St. E

o    Hwy 27/Co. Rd. 17 southwest end uses Summit Ave.

·         Pedestrians

o    Sidewalks to close, follow detour signs (usually adjacent side)

Safety is our top priority. The work zone is only one-fourth of a mile, so please go slow and take your time. Be alert for changes, and watch for the use of side streets and entrances.
